How to connect my LaView camera to Alexa

Step-by-step guide to set up the Alexa integration and enable voice control for your LaView camera.

Please follow this instruction to set up the Alexa integration.

Steps

  1. Download our LaView app from the Android or iOS app market.
  2. Register an account in our LaView app.
  3. Make sure your camera is compatible with Alexa.

Compatible models

The following models are compatible with Alexa:

  • LV-PWF1 & LV-PWF2
  • LV-PWR3 & LV-PWR12 & LV-PWR15
  • LV-PWB5
  • LV-PWB9 & LV-PWB10
  • LV-PWN11 & LV-PWN15 & LV-PWN20
  • LV-PWDB5 & LV-PWDB6 & LV-PWDB7
  1. Configure these devices in our LaView app and change to an appropriate name for your devices, which will be used in LaView skills.
  2. Download the Amazon Alexa app from the Android, iOS or Amazon app market.
  3. Configure Echo with the Alexa app.
  4. Search for the LaView skill from the Alexa app skills category. Ensure you are using the correct Alexa skill to set up the LaView camera with Amazon Alexa devices. Please search for LaView in the Amazon Skill store.
  5. Click Enable skill of LaView, and you'll be navigated to the LaView login page.
  6. Input your LaView account username and password, and you'll be redirected to the success page.
  7. Now all setup is finished.

You can enjoy voice control on your home devices like this:

"Alexa, show me the camera"

Important

Please do not use the LaView ONE skill, as it is not compatible.
