How to adjust motion detection sensitivity and turn on human body filtering for your LaView camera.
To adjust the motion detection sensitivity or turn on human body filtering of the LaView camera, please follow these steps once your camera has been connected to your Wi-Fi network and added to your LaView account.
Steps
- Please start the Live View of your camera.
- Once the video feed loads, tap the edit icon at the top right.
- Then tap on Detection Alarm Settings.
- Turn on the Motion Detection Alarm option.
From here, you can adjust the Alarm Sensitivity Level and turn on Human Body Filtering.
Adjusting the sensitivity higher will trigger motion alarms quicker and easier. Lowering it will require more movement for longer periods of time to trigger the event.
Turning on Human Body Filtering, the camera will only alarm when a "human" is detected.
Important
If you plan on using this feature, please test the camera to ensure the environment will not impact performance (i.e. lighting or focal point).
